As the iconic centrepiece of one of Vancouver Island’s most serene and picturesque areas, we’ve been welcoming boaters to our full-service facility since 1945.
We are a true full-service marina, complete with fuel dock, pump out, boatyard with Travelift, dining, shopping and docking assistance – all on one site. Our long-term boaters appreciate that our harbour is also a peaceful location, well protected by mountains from most winds, especially those strong SE winds.
Moorage Options:
We really do want you to be able to come for an afternoon or stay for a lifetime — plus everything in between. The following are our flexible moorage options:
Maple Bay Marina offers short-term overnight moorage for visiting boats up to 100’, year-round. Reservations are strongly recommended as we often book up.
Summer Season (May 1– Sep 30): $1.95
Shoulder Season (Oct 1– Apr 30): $1.45
Until March 31, 2024: $1.40
Visitor Power (daily rate):
15 amp: $5.50 l 30 amp: $7.50 | 50 amp: $11.00
When you arrive in the bay, please hail us on VHF channel 66A to receive a slip assignment. Our staff will be there to catch lines and greet you upon arrival, unless noted otherwise.
For after-hours arrivals, please call 250.746.8482 and leave a message with your name, phone number, boat name, and slip location. We will contact you the next day. Visiting moorage is only available on H dock.
Yacht clubs and other boating groups are welcome.
We have a covered picnic area and large lawn with BBQs, tables and related services. We can also help coordinate catering, reservations with the Shipyard Restaurant & Pub, group transportation, tee times at one of our wonderful golf courses, bookings, winery tours and other local attractions.

We offer serval types of long-term moorage; open moorage, marina owned boat sheds, privately owned boat sheds, yacht enclosures, float homes and sea kayaks.
Long-term moorage is sold by application and appointment only, during regular business hours. Please contact the marina for pricing and availability.
Maple Bay Marina offers various forms of covered moorage ranging from sea kayaks to mega yachts. Please contact us for more information.
Not all marinas are created equal! Our moorage pricing is based on the abundance of services, wide variety of amenities, and the peaceful rural location offered here. Maple Bay Marina is superbly sheltered in the Cowichan Valley region in Vancouver Island; the ideal gateway to world famous Gulf Islands.
