Welcome to the waterside front door of Maple Bay Marina.
This is where you can gain convenient access to the marine fuel station, seaplane terminal, visiting boater check-in, the Shipyard Restaurant & Pub and all of our other shoreside marina services.
Fuel Dock
We’re open daily except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day but please call to confirm as we adjust operations seasonally:
- Summer – 8 am to 7:00 pm
- Spring and Fall – 9 am to 5 pm
- Winter – 9 am to 4 pm
All boats, dinghies, jet skis and kayaks visiting the marina must check-in prior to docking (located in the far south end of Maple Bay – past the blue and white yacht enclosures).
Contact us at VHF 66A when approaching the dock. Also use this channel for fuel service, pumpout service and/or slip assignment. Make sure your radio volume is turned up!
The Maple Bay Marina fuel dock is the only fuel service for boaters between Mill Bay and Chemainus on Vancouver Island. We sell Columbia Fuels marine premium gasoline and diesel as well as oil, fuel additives and propane.
Fuel discounts are available to marina moorage customers, yacht clubs, overnight visitors and Power and Sail Squadrons (membership ID required). If you’re looking for a snack, stop by our Marina Centre. We’ve got you covered!
Bottled water, pop, ice (blocked and cubed), ice cream, chips, peanuts, and marina logo items (caps, key fobs).
In 2018, Maple Bay Marina partnered with the Municipality of North Cowichan to open a new marina pumpout facility that provides boaters with an environmentally responsible way to discharge waste and protect our world-class waters.
Regular pumpouts are important to ensure that your holding tank always has room when you need it.
Knowing the location of the nearest pumpout station is also a good habit. So, it’s great news that Maple Bay Marina, in partnership with the Municipality of North Cowichan, have opened a convenient new pumpout facility at the marina, providing boaters with an environmentally responsible way to discharge waste while protecting our world-class waters.

Gulf Island Seaplanes
Traveling by seaplane is a safe, convenient, and spectacular way to see the west coast of BC.
New! Starting October 25, 2024 Gulf Island Seaplanes will be offering scheduled service between Maple Bay and YVR, from right at the end of Maple Bay Marina’s dock “H”. Charters are also available.
