Welcome to the heart of the Maple Bay Marina community!
Our Marina Centre is the first point of contact for most land-based visitors and where you can get answers to all your marina questions.
From here, you can grab a coffee, take your dog for a walk (on a leash) or enjoy a picnic along the water. Our green space and gardens offer a quiet place to unwind, with marine artifacts providing glimpses in our maritime history.
Whether you want to spend the day on your boat relaxing, or explore the area, we’re here to help. Our amenities will make your time at the marina comfortable and stress free.
Open year-round, this is a great spot to grab breakfast, enjoy a drink from our espresso bar or treat yourself to ice cream. Our menu includes an array of sandwiches, wraps, bagels, bites, BLTs, sausage rolls, house-baked goodies, assorted soft drinks, cool treats, confections, snacks … and of course – plenty of ice (cube and block).
Nov to Feb – 9 am to 4 pm.
Mar to Oct – 9 am to 5 pm
Our region is a hotbed of creativity and we are pleased to feature a selection of local art in our Mariners Market. Bring a little piece of Cowichan home with you. We’ve got everything from Raku pottery to hand-spun textiles.
Open daily from 8am to 5pm.
Located in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, there’s no shortage of things to do – at the marina and in our surrounding community. Our active visitors enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding in our bay or exploring the valley’s world-class hiking and biking trails. Visitors looking to unwind can enjoy a meal at our ocean-side restaurant or rent a car and explore all the Cowichan Valley has to offer. Cowichan is also famous for an amazing array of artisanal producers of food and drink, so come with an appetite. Some of our more unique attractions include the Pacific Northwest Raptors, the Hand of Man Museum.
